ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾ ಇನ್ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್ ಆರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ನೀನಾಸಮ್ ರಂಗಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕೇಂದ್ರ 20013-14 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಹತೆ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್.ಸಿ.ಇರಬೇಕು. ಪದವೀಧರರಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಮಟ್ಟಿನ ಅನುಭವ ಇರಬೇಕಾದ್ದು ಅಗತ್ಯ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ ಊಟ, ವಸತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇದ್ದು ಹದಿನೈದು ಮಂದಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಹೆಗ್ಗೋಡು Call for Applications for the 10 months Course
Diploma in Theatre Arts Recognised and aided by the Govt, of Karnataka, the Ninasam Theatre Institute at Heggodu calls for applications for the 10 months Diploma in Theatre Arts Course for the year 2013-14. Minimum qualification for admission is SSLC, but graduates are preferred. Candidates must have a deep interest in theatre and some experience of working in the field. It is a completely residential course and all male and female students will get hostel and food facility on the campus, and the first 15 people also get a scholarship roughly to cover their basic living costs.
The one year course offers both theoretical and practical training in the concepts of the theatre medium, history of drama and theatre, acting, stagecraft and theatre management. Apart from the trained staff in the Institute, teachers from outside are invited all through the year for conducting classes and productions. The Institute also has a good library and audio visual collection of material. The course will be rigorous, full time, and the students are expected work between 7 am and 9.30 pm every day, with breaks. For prescribed application forms and the prospectus, candidates must write to the Institute with an application fee of Rs. 250; email requests are not entertained. The completed application forms with necessary enclosures must reach the Institute on or before 15-6-2013; there is no facility to apply online. The interview for selection will be held from 2 pm on Saturday, 29th June to 6 pm on Sunday 30th June 2013, at the Ninasam Campus in Heggodu, which the applicants must attend from their own expenses.
